Learned counsel for the petitioner submits as follows. A disciplinary proceeding was initiated by the respondent No.5 in December, 2022. Till date the same could not be concluded, only a charge-sheet was submitted in the year 2023. Reliance is placed on a decision of a Coordinate Bench of this Court passed on 10.04.2024 in WPA 7037 of 2024.

Learned senior counsel for the University denies the allegations made in the writ petition and submits as follows. Owing to some administrative difficulties, the disciplinary proceeding could not be concluded. However, a charge-sheet has been submitted and all endeavour would be made to conclude the disciplinary proceeding at the earliest.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the University to conclude the disciplinary proceeding within three months from this date. It is further made clear that if the disciplinary proceeding is not concluded within the stipulated time as specified for any fault of the University, the petitioner, who is under suspension now, shall be reinstated in service with full salary.
