Mr. Saket Sharma Mr. Rohan Raj.

...for the opposite party no.2.

Report submitted by Mr. Anwar Hossain, learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record. Report reflects that at the instance of one Anuj Saraswat Golabari Police Station Case No.350 of 2022 was initiated for investigation and subsequently charge-sheet was filed under the provisions of Sections 323/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code Earlier, a report was called for. A report has been submitted enclosing the statement of Anuj Saraswat who has stated that there has been an amicable settlement between the parties and he is not intending to pursue with the said criminal case. Having regard to the nature of the offences complained of and the conclusion arrived at by the Investigating Agency, I am of the view that as the society at large is not affected in view of the

settlement arrived at, further continuance of the proceedings is unwarranted.

Accordingly, all further proceedings of Golabari Police Station Case No.350 of 2022 dated 08.09.2022 including the charge-sheet therein is hereby quashed.

Accordingly, CRR 2134 of 2023 along with CRAN 1 of 2023 is allowed.
