Petitioners submit they are not the principal accused. They pray for bail.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the bail prayer. He submits petitioners actively connived with the principal offender who committed the robbery. Trial is in progress. We have considered the materials on record. Petitioners had followed the victim and robbed him.

In view of the aforesaid incriminating materials and gravity of offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners at this stage.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioners is rejected.

Trial court is requested to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
