The petitioner has alleged inaction on the part of the Officer-in-Charge, Debra Police Station. According to the petitioner, despite complaints having been lodged with regard to illegal activities of the respondent nos. 6 to 15, no steps have been taken by the authorities.

Learned advocate for the State submits a report in the form of instructions prepared by the Officer-in-Charge, Debra Police Station. The police report is taken on record.

It appears that on the basis of the application filed by the petitioner before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Paschim Medinipur vide MP Case No. 338 of 2021, Debra Police Station Case No. 474/2021 dated September 16, 2021, under Sections 447/323/325/307/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code

along with Sections 3(1)(a)(f)(e)(r)(s) of SC & ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act has been started. The S.D.P.O., Debra is investigating the case.

Under such circumstances, nothing survives to be decided in the writ petition. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
