The petitioner is in custody for more than 100 days and prays for bail.
Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer. Fake Indian Currency notes have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Charge sheet has been submitted. The alleged offence strikes at the root of the economic stability of the country.
Considering the nature of the offence and prima facie involvement of the petitioner therein, the prayer for bail is rejected at this stage.
The application for bail is disposed of.
