Although time was granted to take appropriate steps for substitution, it is submitted that none could be contacted to carry on the proceedings as heirs of the deceased petitioner.

Since none has come forward to proceed with the matter on behalf of the deceased-petitioner, nor has the limitation period of three years for filing a substitution application expired, which would result in abatement of the revisional application, CO No.2280 of 2005 is dismissed for non-prosecution, without any order as to costs.
