This matter pertains to the year of 2016 and is pending in the list since 4th January, 2023 and has been called on each day of working of this Court since that date. In spite of that no one is appearing. The petitioner is found to be not interest in this case. Therefore, the same is taken up today for disposal on merit.

This case is to challenge the proceedings in the Court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chandannagore, Hooghly being Misc. Case No. 41 of 2015 under Sections 12/18/19/20/22/23 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act and an appeal connected therewith being Criminal Appeal No. 5 of 2015 under Section 29 of the said Act pending in the Court of Additional District and Sessions Judge, Fast Track Court at Chandannagore, Hooghly. The grounds pleaded are not sufficient and cogent enough to warrant this Court's interference into the impugned order. Hence, in my considered opinion the revision is liable to be dismissed. Hence, CRR no. 1941 of 2016 is dismissed.
