Petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of her application for interim maintenance pending before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, 4th Court, Serampore, District - Hooghly. It appears from the record that the opposite party has appeared before the learned Trial Court and August 07, 2024 has been fixed for filing of written objection and show cause by the opposite party.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the 4 years old daughter of the parties is in custody of the petitioner and the petitioner is finding it difficult to make both ends meet without interim maintenance granted by the learned Trial Court. In view of the above, the application being CRR No. 2217 of 2024 is disposed of directing the learned Trial Court to dispose of the application for interim maintenance filed by the petitioner within one month from the next date fixed before him without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either party, in accordance with law.

CRR No. 2217 of 2024 is disposed of accordingly.
