Heard learned counsels for the parties.

The petitioner is in custody for more than 3 years and prays for bail.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer and submits that 14 witnesses have already been examined and prosecution proposes to examine 10 more witnesses. Bail prayer of the petitioner was turned down by this Court on several occasions earlier, on merits. There is no change in circumstances which warrants a favourable order at this stage.

Accordingly, prayer for bail is rejected at this stage. The learned trial Court is directed to expedite the trial without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

The application for bail is thus disposed of.
