2. Report filed by the Inspector-in-Charge, Uttarpara Police Station signed on 19th June, 2024 be retained with the records.

3. It appears from the submission made on behalf of the petitioners that at present the grievance of the petitioners under the provisions of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 are currently taken care of.

4. The son of the petitioners has shifted his wife to a different accommodation and the petitioners are presently residing at peace.

5. The instant writ petition is disposed of by observing that the Inspector-in-Charge, Uttarpara Police Station shall keep strict vigil to ensure that there is no breach of peace and tranquility in the locale and the senior citizens may live in their house peacefully without any interference from any other family members.

6. The writ petition stands disposed of.

7. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
