Commercial quantity of contraband item was recovered from a Mini Truck of which the driver and the registered owner is the petitioner. He says that he had no idea what he was carrying in his vehicle.

We find very difficult to believe what the petitioner is saying.

In view of the restriction under Section 37 of the N.D.P.S. Act and involvement of commercial quantity of contraband, we are not inclined to entertain the petitioner's prayer for bail.

The application for bail is, accordingly, rejected. CRM (NDPS) 879 of 2024 is dismissed.
