Objection filed by the petitioner before the Project Director, National Highway Authority of India, PIU, Kharagpur on June 12, 2025 objecting to construction of a footboard in front of the recorded land of the petitioner obstructing ingress and egress to the said land is pending consideration.

None represents the National Highway Authority of India.

As the NHAI is not represented, the Court is not in a position to decide the issue conclusively. 4.
In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Project Director, National Highway Authority, PIU, Kharagpur, being the third respondent, to take immediate steps for consideration and disposal of the petitioner's objection in accordance with law, after giving reasonable opportunity of hearing and after
causing an spot inspection.

Steps shall be taken in the matter at the earliest but positively within eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

If the grievance of the petitioner appears to be genuine, then necessary remedial steps shall be taken by the authority.

Learned counsel for the petitioner shall forward a copy of the objection dated June 12, 2025 to the aforesaid respondent at the time of communicating this order.

Affidavit of service is taken on record.

All parties are to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Certified copy of this order, if applied for, shall be made available to the parties.
