West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited Mr. Indranil Halder ..for the petitioner Mr. Asif Dewan ..for WBSEDCL The petitioner seeks electricity connection for his submersible pump set.

It is submitted that though the petitioner complied with all necessary formalities in the month of December, 2024, no electricity connection has been effected as yet. Learned advocate representing the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) submits that expectedly, electricity connection will be given to the petitioner in the month of November, 2025.

In view of the aforesaid stance of WBSEDCL, it is not necessary to keep this writ petition pending. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of giving a direction upon the WBSEDCL to effect electricity connection within 15th November, 2025.

Accordingly, WPA 13590 of 2025 is disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
