The petitioner is claiming interest for the delayed payment of arrear pension and gratuity in terms of ROPA Rules, 2019.

The delay is of few months which was consumed to prepare the revised PPO, therefore, no fault is attributable to the respondent authorities to cause any unreasonable delay so as to attract interest on the arrear pension or gratuity.

The writ petition WPA 13805 of 2022 is, therefore, dismissed without any order as to costs.
