In the matter of : Atanu Nayek ..... petitioner Mr. Debapriya Samanta Mr. Snehasis Mukherjee ....For the petitioner Ms. Sreyashee Biswas .....For the WBSEDCL Following the order dated September 6, 2021, the petitioner has deposited 50% of the final assessment amount. The petitioner is in custody for about 17 days. In view of the nature of allegations levelled against the petitioner and also the fact that he has already deposited 50% of the final assessment amount, I am of the opinion that custodial detention of the petitioner is no more necessary. Accordingly, the petitioner will be enlarged on bail subject to furnishing a bond of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand Only), with one surety of like amount, to the satisfaction of the learned Judge, Special Court (I.E.Act), Burdwan.
