Petitioner is aggrieved as an information was furnished on or about May, 2024 to the Nager Bazar Police Station, but no steps were taken. Petitioner complains that he has been threatened with dire consequences for vacating the flat, however, he was helpless when no police assistance was rendered.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects that an enquiry was conducted which reflect that the mutation of the flat is in favour of the respondent no. 4.

Be that as it may, so far as right, title, interest and possession is concerned it would be the civil court to decide the issues. Police authorities in ordinary circumstances would oversee regarding the breach of the peace and tranquility. Since more than

a year has passed, I am of the view that in case fresh inconveniences are expressed by the petitioner, police authorities would address the same in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 14855 of 2024 is disposed of.
