The writ petitioner is aggrieved by absence of response to a complaint dated 22.08.2021 in respect of certain forged and fictitious deeds.

By order dated 15.07.2021 the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer, Bhagowangola I, P.O. & P.S.- Bhagowangola,District - Murshidabad has observed that a particular deed in respect of plot no. 917 under Khatian No. 8832 has been filed with the authority, based on which the private respondent's name was recorded as owner. By the said order, the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer has held that a fake deed was produced in Case No. MN/2014/1204/2898.

Counsel for the state submits that on the basis of complaint filed by the petitioner and the private respondent against one and another proceedings under Section 107 of the Cr. P. C. have been taken out.

In that view of the matter, this Court directs the Officer-in-Charge, Bhagowangola Police Station, Murshidabad to register F.I.R. in respect of the said complaint dated 22.08.2021 and investigate the matter. It is expected that investigation would be completed within a period of two months from the date of communication of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
