Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that inspite of 19.02.2025 Court No. 35 Item No.15 Rakib informing the police authorities no action has been taken in respect of the incident complained of, particularly in relation to a stray dog being hit, pressed and run over by a vehicle.

Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report. Report reflects that police authorities have enquired into the incident, collected CCTV footages and have arrived at their finding. To that effect, the enquiry report of an Assistant Sub-Inspector of the concerned police station has been enclosed along with the report. In view of the steps so taken, prima facie it seems that the police authorities have acted on the information so furnished. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the nature of enquiry carried out, the petitioner would be at liberty to approach the Jurisdictional Magistrate for appropriate orders.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 15003 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
