Affidavit-of-service filed by the petitioner be kept with the record.

Petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities particularly with regard to the information which was furnished on or about 16th June, 2025. The subject matter of contentions in the information so furnished are for other authorities to act and direct the police authorities to act in a particular manner.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects that the police authorities have enquired and have sent requisitions to the appropriate authorities. Since the police authorities are enquiring into the issues and have already collected documents, I am of the view that this Court is not in a position to direct the police authorities to act in a particular manner.

Learned advocate for the private respondent no.17 submits that he has taken all licences/permissions and he has submitted the said documents with the police authorities also in course of the enquiry so conducted.

Be that as it may, since the police authorities are holding enquiry and the subject matter relates to other authorities which are of the Environment Department and the Public Health Engineering Department, I direct that the police authorities would act if the other statutory authorities pass necessary directions. No interference is called for at this stage by this Court.

Accordingly, WPA 13724 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
