The petitioner says that he is serving the Steel Authority of India (in short "SAIL") as Manager Security at VISP, Bhadravathi, Karnataka. The petitioner is inter alia seeking a direction upon the petitioner's employer, to release the leave salary and other dues for a period between 9th April, 2015 to 31st January, 2016 when the petitioner was allegedly sanctioned a special casual leave. SAIL is a notified organisation under the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985.

In that view of the matter, the petitioner's grievances against his employer can only be ventilated before the Central Administrative Tribunal having jurisdiction over the matter. This Court lacks

the jurisdiction to receive, try and determine the writ petition.

The writ petition is, therefor, dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to file afresh before the jurisdictional Central Administrative Tribunal. (Arindam Mukherjee, J.)
