Perused the report filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation in a sealed cover signed by the Superintendent of Police, CBI, ACB, Kolkata on 4th July, 2024.

It mentions that the URL mentioned by the petitioner in the writ petition is still available in the open source of YouTube. The contents of the conversation in Bengali were scrutinized, played and analyzed.

Upon scrutiny it appeared that the contents of the conversation available on YouTube are vague and hearsay. Substantial information like details of the persons from whom the alleged money was collected and other financial details of the said collection is unavailable.

The CBI has concluded that the allegations are vague and non-specific in nature, not backed by any cogent and categorical evidence and the matter cannot be scrutinized any further.

From the report filed by the CBI, it appears that the complaint of the petitioner, at this stage, cannot be proceeded any further. Job in lieu of money scam is already been investigated by the CBI. The CBI shall take necessary steps in the matter as and when further evidence is brought before the said authority. The writ petition stands disposed of.

The report of the CBI be kept in a sealed cover with this file.

Disposal of the present writ petition will not stand in the way of anybody filing any complaint under the Whistle Blowers Protection Act, 2011.
