Heard the learned Advocates for the parties.

We have considered the materials on record. Petitioners and co-accused had pretended to be police officers and waylaid a track. They extorted money from the driver. Being unhappy with the amount collected, they assaulted him. As a result, he died. The allegations are very grave and the materials against the petitioners are weighty. Their bail prayer was rejected earlier on merits.

Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioners is rejected.
