Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record. The petitioners complain that they have been thrown out from their own residence by the respondent nos. 5 and 6.

State has submitted a report which reflects that Baduria Police Station Case No. 259/2024 dated 07.06.2024 was registered for investigation pursuant to the complaint submitted by the petitioners. Be that as it may, in view of the petitioners having been allegedly thrown out of their own residence by their two sons being the respondent nos. 5 and 6, I direct that the Officerin-Charge, Baduria Police Station would deploy a lady police personnel/police personnel who would escort the petitioners for their entry at their own residence.

The petitioners would report to the police station on 29.11.2024 when all arrangements

would be made by the Officer-in-Charge, Baduria Police Station.

A police personnel would be engaged who would in every alternate day for a period of four weeks visit the residence of the petitioners and assess as to whether the petitioners have been subjected to any harassment or humiliation at the hands of the respondent nos. 5 and 6.

Within the said period of four weeks, the petitioners would approach the authorities under the provisions of Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. In case any further order is passed by the authority under the said Act, the police authorities will adhere to the said order and act accordingly.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 15007 of 2024 is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
