1. The learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that due to political rivalry, the petitioners have been falsely implicated.

2. The learned Counsel for the State in opposing the prayer has referred to the statement of the independent witness recorded under Section 161 of the Criminal Procedure Code and the injury report.

3. Considering the materials available in the case diary, the nature and extent of injury and the statement of the witnesses, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

4. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. (Soumen Sen, J.) (Uday Kumar, J.)
