Petitioner is aggrieved as no steps were taken by the police authorities pursuant to the information furnished with the Bidhannagar North Police Station. Petitioner complains that he has been deceived of a sum of Rs. 25,00,000/-.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects that already Bidhannagar North Police Station Case No. 29/2024 dated 07.02.2024 has been registered for investigation in respect of the nature of the dispute, proceedings have been drawn up under section 107 of the Cr.P.C.

Having regard to the fact that the case was registered on February, 2024, I am of the view that the police authorities if till date did not arrive at their conclusion of investigation, would take immediate steps so that within a period of 60 days

from the date of communication such steps are taken to submit their report under section 173 Cr.P.C. before the jurisdictional court.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 13933 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
