d.p.
In The High Court At Calcutta Constitutional Writ Jurisdiction Appellate Side W.P.A 14829 of 2021 (Via Video Conference) Kausani Chanda -versus State of West Bengal & Ors.
Mr. Santanu Das.
...For the Petitioner.
Mr. Tanoy Chakraborty, Mr. Chhandak Dutta.
...For the Respondent Nos. 3 and 4.
Mr. Swapan Kumar Datta, Mr. Tapas Kumar Dey.
...For the State.
The original mark-sheet and the certificate of the petitioner for the diploma course held in June 2016 have been handed over to the learned advocate of the petitioner by the learned advocate representing the College.
The learned advocate appearing for the petitioner has also returned the original incorrect mark-sheet of the petitioner to the learned advocate representing the College.
The learned advocate for the petitioner further submits that the remark 'distinction' is not reflected in the certificate issued in favour of the petitioner. The learned advocate appearing for the College submits that the mark sheet and the certificate have
been issued by the University and the College does not have any role to play in the matter.
Liberty is granted to the petitioner to raise her grievance before the University for making necessary correction in the certificate so that the corrected certificate may be issued in favour of the petitioner at the earliest, but positively within a period of three weeks from the date of making the representation. In view of the above, no further order is required to be passed in the instant writ application. As no affidavit has been called for, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed not to be admitted by the respondents.
W.P.A 14829 of 2021 stands disposed of.
Urgent photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible.
