Affidavit of service filed by the petitioner is taken on record. None appears for the opposite party despite service. The innocuous prayer of the petitioner is for a direction upon the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Barasat to dispose of the stay petition and reply to the show cause filed by him before the learned Court expeditiously. The petitioner appearing in person submits that he was unable to appear before the learned Court on 16th February, 2024 since he was on duty for the higher secondary examination on the said date. He was directed to show cause as to why the case would not be dismissed for not taking steps. The petitioner submitted the reply to the show cause before the learned Court and also the stay petition, both of which are yet to be considered.

In view of the above, the revisional application, being CRR 2231 of 2024 is disposed of directing the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Barasat to consider and dispose of the stay petition and the reply to the show cause submitted by the petitioner within one month from the next date fixed before him, in accordance with law.
