The writ petition is directed against an order dated DL-10 27.07.2023 Court No.5 (AD) February 12, passed by the West Bengal Administrative Tribunal in OA-1355 of 2013.

The writ petitioner was working as a part-time water carrier. He seeks a benefit of regularization and payment of remuneration for the period of service rendered. Tribunal found that regularization was not possible. Tribunal, however, directed payment of the just entitlement of the petitioner for the services rendered.

No doubt, the writ petitioner is entitled to the remuneration for his services rendered. The department will pay the just entitlements of the petitioner in accordance with the services rendered by the petitioner within a period of fortnight from the date of communication of this order. Regularization as prayed for by the petitioner cannot be granted. Petitioner was never engaged through a selection process. Moreover, the petitioner rendered part-

time service.

With the aforesaid observations, WP.ST 129 of 2014 is disposed of without any order as to costs. (Debangsu Basak, J.) (Md. Shabbar Rashidi, J.)
