Allegation of entering the room by altering his voice as that of the husband of the victim and committing rape is patently absurd. Accordingly, he prays for anticipatory bail. Learned Advocate appearing for the State produces the case diary.

We have considered the materials on record. It is true there are litigations pending between the parties. Statement of the victim implicates the petitioner in the offence of rape. Medical report also supports the allegation. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner stands rejected.
