The writ petitioner is aggrieved that in spite of deposit of the Offer Letter Fees as well as the Security Deposit by him the Offer Letter has not been issued in his favour by the respondent authority, to enable him to place the vehicle. The petitioner has been granted permit of the stage carriage, vide an order dated March 08, 2022. Pursuant to the same, he has submitted the Offer Letter Fees as well as the Security Deposit. At this juncture, grant of offer letter by the respondent authority would enable him to place his vehicle and ply the same even on permitted route as per the specified time table.

Mr. Anjushree Mukherjee, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent no. 4/The Secretary, Regional State Transport Authority, Purba Burdwan submits that he has not yet received any instructions with regard to the present case.

However, it is pertinent to note that on behalf of the State respondent, Ms. Anjushree Mukherjee, learned

counsel has not raised any objection as to the contention of the writ petitioner regarding due compliance of him with the necessary statutory formalities, for grant of Offer Letter to him. Otherwise also, copies of relevant supporting materials are on record on the basis of which, the Court records its satisfaction, as regards the same.

In that event, this writ petition is being disposed of with the direction upon the respondent no. 4 to immediately issue the Offer Letter to the writ petitioner, subject to his compliance with all the legal and necessary formalities.

Let the order as above be complied with by the concerned respondent authority within a period of fortnight from the date of communication of a copy of this order.

Since no affidavits are called for, allegations made in the writ petition, are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.

This writ petition being WPA No. 15001 of 2024 is disposed of, along with the pending applications, if any.
