The petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of the G.R. case no. 1706 of 2018 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Bongaon, North 24 Parganas.

It appears that the matter is pending before the learned trial Court since 2017 and 22nd July, 2025 has been fixed for consideration of charge for appearance and charge idwa. In view of the above, the learned trial Court is directed to consider framing of charge on the next date fixed before him and take necessary steps in the event the accused/petitioner fails to appear before him on the said date. The learned Court is further directed to dispose of the case within one year from the date of consideration of charge without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid directions, the revisional application, being CRR 2233 of 2024 is disposed of.
