The West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited will cause an inspection of the premises in respect of which the quotation was issued. The authority shall specifically ascertain whether the petitioner is in possession of any portion of the property in respect of which the connection is being sought.

With regard to the other issues which are the subject matters of the civil suit, the same shall be decided in accordance with law.

This order shall not in any way prejudice the suit which is pending between the parties. The law is well-settled. A person in occupation of any premises is entitled to enjoy electricity, subject to the result of the civil suit. All parties will produce documents in respect of their respective claims.
