Affidavit of Service filed in Court is taken on record.

The petitioner seeks posting of a police picket by the Kolaghat Police Station for repairing of a boundary wall that was broken during the storm. He is being obstructed by the private respondents, who are trying to encroach his land.

Repeated complaints have been lodged to the Kolaghat Police Station but in vain.

4.

Kolaghat Police Station has registered FIR 200 of dated 16.04.2023 against the private respondents.

5.

It is expected that investigation of the said FIR be completed within two months from date.

The petitioner's application to the Superintendent of Police dated 7th June, 2023 shall be considered by the Superintendent of Police, Purba Medinipur under Sections 666 and 669 of the West Bengal Police Regulation Act for deployment of Police

picket to enable the petitioner to repair and restore his boundary wall at his cost.

Let such consideration be effected within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate to the petitioner. 8.

The writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
