Bhattacharya ...for the petitioner It is submitted by Mr. Bhattacharya, learned advocate for the petitioner that vide order dated 7th April, 2022 this Court directed the petitioner to let this Court know as to whether Complaint Case No.C-89 of 2003 is still pending before the Court of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate at Sealdah or not. Learned advocate for the petitioner failed to collect such information.

The complaint case was under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instrument Act. There was no stay of further proceeding of the complaint case. This proceeding is continuing since 2005.

In view of such long pendency of the instant criminal revision and for the reasons that the petitioner does not know whether the above numbered complaint

case is still pending or not, I do not find any merit in the instant revision.

Accordingly, the instant criminal revision is dismissed.
