1. Affidavit of service filed today is taken on record.

2. The petitioner is a doctor serving the State Government and has approached the authorities for grant of study leave to pursue a course namely, MD (Respiratory Medicine) Course at N.R.S. Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner made a mention that if the study leave is not granted to the petitioner he may be prevented from making online registration on the portal for the course in question. On such motion being made we directed the matter to be listed today and for serving a copy on the learned Government Pleader. The copy was served and the matter has been listed today, and is being thus considered.

4. We have asked the learned counsel for the petitioner to show from the records how in the event of non

grant of study leave, petitioner would be prevented from online registration.

5. Based on the records, no such document has been shown so as to warrant issuance of any urgent interim order today, that also during pendency of the matter before the West Bengal Administrative Tribunal (SAT for short) in O.A. No. 324 of 2025.

6. In view of the above circumstances we refrain from making any observation on the merits of the matter pending before the Tribunal. The petitioner would be at liberty to pursue his remedies there in accordance with law.

7. Disposal of the present writ petition shall not be taken as an expression of this Court, on the merits of O.A. No. 324 of 2025 pending before the SAT.

8. The writ petition is disposed of.
