Petitioner complains that in spite of informing the police authorities no steps have been taken. Petitioner draws the attention of the general diary entry which was on the basis of an information furnished on 06.02.2023 at Kashipur Police Station. Primary grievance of the petitioner is that petitioner was unable to raise boundary wall as he has been subjected to threats at the behest of the private respondents.

Learned advocate for the State has drawn the attention of the Court to the order passed by the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal wherein it is reflected that the petitioners withdrew the said application for taking necessary steps before the appropriate authority.

Having regard to the fact that there is a subject matter of land dispute existing, I am of the view that at this stage after almost two years no interference can be made. However, the petitioner would file fresh representation before the local police station. The Officer-in-charge/Inspector-in-charge of the concerned police station would assess the inconveniences faced by the petitioner and take steps in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 13972 of 2023 is disposed of.
