Versus

1. This contempt application has been filed alleging willful disobedience of the order and direction dated 10th April, 2023 in W.P.A.(P) 149 of 2023.

2. The learned advocate for the respondent/municipality has submitted a compliance report, which contains the letter addressed to the contempt applicant/writ petitioner.

3. It is submitted by the learned advocate for the respondent/municipality that the copy of the speaking order was communicated to the applicant by post, which is returned with postal endorsement "Refused" on 7th February, 2024.

4. In the light of the above, the compliance stated to have been made by the respondent is placed on record and if any person is aggrieved by the said order passed by the authority, it will be open to the said person to question the same in the manner known to law.

5. With the above observations, contempt application stands disposed of.

6. No costs.

7. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties expeditiously upon compliance of all legal formalities.
