The petitioner is directed to serve a copy of this revisional application upon Ms. Baisali Basu, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears for the State. Her appointment may be regularised by the concerned authorities.

The main grievance of the petitioner relates to the warrant of arrest which has been issued by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Fast Track Court, Chandernagore, Hooghly. I find that the sessions case is of the year 2011 and the petitioner was granted bail on 03.11.2011. The petitioner was present till 16.09.2022, but was absent on 18.11.2022 when the warrant of arrest was issued.

In view of the fact that the petitioner is not disturbing the progress of the case, I direct that in case the petitioner appears before the learned trial court by 07.07.2023, he may be allowed to continue on the same bail and bond subject to

such terms being imposed by the learned trial court to ensure his appearance in future.

The execution of the warrant of arrest be stayed till 10.07.2023.

If the petitioner does not surrender within the aforesaid period, the warrant of arrest be revived and the learned Magistrate would proceed to next harsher process of law. With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 2162 of 2023 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

All concerned parties including the learned Trial Court shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
