1. The contempt application has become infructuous. The order of the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer, Chanditala-I, has been set aside by the appellate authority on merits. The petitioner urges that the order is contemptuous as it seeks to override the order passed in the writ petition.

2. We are satisfied that pursuant to our order, an order was passed. The appellate forum deemed it fit to set aside the order of Block Land and Land Reforms Officer, Chanditala-I, on the ground that the same being contrary to law. We cannot haul up the BL & LRO in contempt, for passing a wrong order.

3. Thus, the question of contempt does not arise. The contempt proceeding is dropped. The application is disposed of.
