Officer-in-Charge, Singur Police Station has filed a report and the same is taken on record.

It appears from the report that there is a dispute between the petitioners and the private respondents in connection with a property at Mouja Ajabnagar, Singur. In respect of a complaint of the petitioners Singur Police Station Case No.65/2019 dated 22nd February, 2019 has been started and after investigation Charge Sheet being Singur P.S. CS No.83 of 2019 dated 13th March, 2019 has been filed against the accused persons. The trial of the case is going on before the A.C.J.M. Chandannagar. It further appears from the report that Title Suit No.4 of 2020 is pending before the learned Civil Judge, Chandannagore, Hooghly. It also appears from the report that Title Suit No.17 of 2020 is also pending. The parties may resolve their civil disputes in the pending civil or statutory proceedings in accordance with law.

This Court sees no inaction on the part of the Singur Police.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
