Mr. Vaisya, learned AGP, questions the maintainability of the instant writ petition on the ground that it is bad for misjoinder of causes of action. Ms. Sengupta, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the suspension of House Rent Allowances (HRA) was made under a common order as such the petitioners, to challenge the said order, can maintain the instant writ petition. The subject matter of challenge is the suspension of HRA of the petitioners which occurred on different dates, therefore the submission of Mr. Vaisya demands scrutiny.

However, Ms.

Sengupta, to avoid unnecessary complication, prays leave to withdraw the instant writ petition with liberty to file separate writ petitions for each of the petitioners.

Leave, as prayed for, is granted. WPA 14028 of 2023 is dismissed as withdrawn without any order as to costs. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
