The writ application has been preferred challenging an order dated 24.04.2025 vide Memo No.940/FMR/12A-19/2025 passed by the Director, District Distribution Procurement and Supply by illegally assessing the fine of Rs. 16,07,145/-to the petitioner.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that in course of hearing it was agreed that the fine amount will be reduced to 12 lakhs and odd, but the written order shows otherwise and being aggrieved he has preferred the writ application. 4.

On hearing the parties and on perusal of the materials on record, it appears that there are no documents to substantiate the said case of the petitioner.

The order shows that the penalty amount has been reduced to Rs. 16,07,145/- from an amount of Rs. 24,10,717.35/-.

Thus the authority concerned has considerably reduced the penalty amount. As such the order under challenge being in accordance with law. 7.

Learned counsel for the petitioner at this stage prays for three easy installments to pay the said amount.

Considering the facts and circumstances, the petitioner is at liberty to pay the said amount in three equal installment. Fraction, if any, be paid with the last installment. The first installment be paid by the 10th December, 2025. The next two installments to paid by the 10th of the following months.

Writ application stands disposed of.

Applications, if any, connected thereto stand disposed of consequently.

11.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

12.

Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on priority basis upon compliance of all formalities.
