For the State Records of the writ petition reflect that the petitioner advanced a representation on or about 27th March, 2024 to the Inspector-in-Charge, Paikar Police Station, Murarai, Birbhum. However, no steps were taken against the private respondents and as such the petitioner approached this Court.

Having considered that more than 16 months have passed since such information was registered with the police authority, I am of the view that if the petitioner is facing the same inconvenience he would either approach the jurisdictional Court or furnish a fresh representation before the police authorities. The police authorities would consider the same in accordance with law. So far as the Magistrate is concerned, if any application is preferred , he would ascertain and assess the genuinity of the allegations and pass necessary directions as he deem fit and proper.

As none appears for the State, Ms. Ashmita Chakraborty, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State, is requested to appear for the

State in this matter.

Her appointment will be regularised by the concerned authority.

With the above observations, the writ petition being W.P.A. 15130 of 2024 is disposed of.
