And In Re : Monoj Mal alias Manoj Mal .... petitioner Mr. Narattam Acharyya ....for the petitioner Mr. Avijit Ganguly Mr. Avik Ganguly ...... for the State Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits there was a love affair between the parties. He prays for bail. Learned Counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record including the statement of the minor victim and her friend. They have implicated the petitioner in the offence. Keeping in mind gravity of the offence and the vulnerable status of the victim, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. The application for bail is, thus, rejected.
