Majumdar Mr. Partha Pratim Bhattacharjee ....for the petitioner This is an application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India seeking a direction upon the Trial Court to dispose of the suit expeditiously. After perusal of the certified copy of the orders passed in the said suit, it appears that the suit has matured to the stage of a trial. We find that the suit is pending for more than five years and, therefore, the endeavour must be shown by the learned Judge in the Trial Court to dispose of the same expeditiously.

We, therefore, request the learned Judge to make efforts to dispose of the suit as expeditiously as possible preferably within eight months from the date of communication of this order.

Accordingly, the revisional application is disposed of.
