Gopal Chandra Maji & ORS. v. Nikhilesh Das
22.07.2021 IN THE HIGH COURT AT CALCUTTA Sl. No.52 SPECIAL CIVIL JURISDICTION (PP) APPELLATE SIDE (Via Video Conference) WPCRC 13694 of 2001 in WPA 2289 of 1999 Gopal Chandra Maji & Ors.
Vs.
Nikhilesh Das & Ors.
It is unfortunate to note that several matters like this contempt petition which are disposed of finally are still shown as pending matter in the records and have been placed in the list.
The instant contempt application was disposed of finally by an order dated 17th July, 2003, which is available in the file.
The Department/Registry should scrutinise the records and correct the same before placing a matter in the list so that there is no repetition of like nature when a disposed of matter is shown pending and placed in the list.
Since the Rule and the application for contempt have already been disposed of finally on 17th July, 2003, there is no requirement for passing any further order.
The matter is directed to go out of the list. A copy of this order be sent down to the Department/Registry for necessary action.
