The writ petitioner complains that his application for firearm licence has not yet been considered by the respondents. The writ petitioner has applied for the licence online on 2nd January 2020 which is since pending.

The writ petitioner annexed various documents to the writ petition claiming that the writ petitioner has fulfilled all the requirements for such licence. In view of the above, the respondent No.3, District Magistrate, Murshidabad shall take appropriate steps in dealing with the writ petitioner's application for firearm licence in accordance with law. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
