The petitioner seeks electricity connection for his submersible pump set.

It is not in dispute that currently the petitioner is enjoying electricity connection, which has been effected by erecting a bamboo pole.

Learned counsel representing West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) submits that a permanent electricity pole will be installed by August 31, 2025.

In light of the above, nothing further remains to be decided in this writ petition.

WBSEDCL shall replace the bamboo pole with a permanent electricity pole within August 31, 2025.

Accordingly, WPA 13847 of 2025 is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
