Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that his complaint was not acted upon by the police authorities.

Affidavit of service so filed be kept with the record.

Supplementary affidavit filed on behalf of the petitioner be kept with the record.

Learned advocate for the state has handed over report which reflects that Hariharpara Police Station Case No. 337/2024 dated 02.06.2024 was registered for investigation for offences relating to cheating and forgery.

It has also been contended in the report prepared in the month of August, 2024 that title suit no. 77/2021 is pending before the court of the Civil Judge (Junior Division).

Learned advocate for the private respondent denies and disputes the contentions advanced by the learned advocate for the petitioner and it is also claimed by the private respondent that, they have title over the same property.

As the investigation of the case has commenced, prima facie, it reflects that the purpose for which the petitioner approached this court, has been subserved.

However, police authorities are directed to put in efforts in respect of the investigation which has commenced since the case involves collection of documents, assessment of the same because of accusations relating to forgery.

Let the investigation be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. With the aforesaid observations WPA 15141 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report so submitted by the state be kept with the record.
