For the respondent no.2 It is submitted by Ms. Sanjukta Das, representing the petitioner that the petitioner intends to withdraw the writ petition as the basic premise on which the writ petition was filed has now been altered. The petitioner had sought for promotion. The petitioner has already been promoted but the petitioner is aggrieved as to the Grade to which the petitioner has been promoted.

Since the cause of action, if any, for which the writ petition was filed, has stood altered, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn on the prayer of the petitioner. Needless to say that the dismissal of this writ petition will not prevent the petitioner, if entitled in law, to file a proceeding on the altered cause of action, if any. (Arindam Mukherjee, J.)
